In April, Guyana submitted a revised Readiness Preparation Proposal (R-PP), which provides an overview of the country's planned strategy for developing REDD Readiness. The Proposal is available on the Guyana Forestry Commission website [7]. The preparation of an R-PP is a requirement for financial support under the World Bank's Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) [8]. Among other issues, the R-PP highlights Guyana's Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS) and its REDD partnership with Norway.
