ANDRITZ receives major order for supplies to Eldorado pulp mill, Brazil

Graz, Austria, Jan 21, 2011 - International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Eldorado Papel e Celulose Ltda. Sackkfraft Paper Machine Speed World Record at Mondi Frantschach

Italy, Jan 10, 2011 - One month after having installed a new PMT SMARNIP® mini shoe press, the 4.5 m wide PM6 at Mondi Frantschach (A) has broken the speed world record of sackkraft paper machines, producing for over 24 hours in a row at 1002 m/min at pope-reel, in November 2010.

The successful cooperation between Mondi Frantschach and PMT Italia started in 2009 with the installation of a new M4 headbox and a new PMT shoe press on PM7, producing MG papers at a maximum speed of 450 m/min.
