The international project in timber industry complex will be implemented in the Republic of Buryatia

The company Baikal Nordic has prepared a solid background for the project implementation: it has concluded the lease agreements which will allow to harvest and process more than 500 tsnd cu m of timber annually. The experienced personnel jointly with the Canadian forest experts have examined the leased areas and resources and attested their high quality and full compliance with the objectives of a project.

The Project was named a Priority Project in the sphere of Forest exploitation at the Federal level after the through examination of the project description and documents provided by Baikal Nordic jointly with the Administration of the Republic of Buryatia. The Baikal Nordic team has elaborated the business plan of the project in English according to the Western standards in a short term thus creating the opportunities to raise the funds at lower interest rates on the Western investment market.

The project is aimed at both the use of the cutting edge eco friendly technologies in timber harvesting and woodworking and also at the intense reforestation in order to assure the opportunity of the future generations to live in a full harmony with the environment. The woodworking complex will be located in a leased by Baikal Nordic area in an exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Buryatia.
